Planning Your Perfect Wedding- Have Fun With Your Favors at Your Perfect Spring Wedding

Wedding favors (if you want them at all) should be fun, inexpensive and personal. It's not necessary to give people a present for coming to your wedding. After all, you're giving them dinner. You invited them because you love them. They came because they love you and they wanted to support and celebrate your wedding vows. They wanted to dance at your wedding.
But there's a lot of pressure in the magazines and books and websites about favors, so if you're going to give in, do something fun. (No, you may not give people live peeps dyed in your wedding colors as a wedding favor! It's not kind to the peeps!). Here are some Spring images to work on:
Barley Sugar bird or flower suckers. They come in great colors, you can find them on the 'net (or even make them with a mold!), tie a ribbon around them and you're done!
Jelly Beans. They come in all colors, you can get spicy if you don't want fruity. There are lots of places to find gourmet flavors if flavors are what you're looking for. Find ones that use your wedding colors.
Tiny Bird Candies. I've seen these on the net. They have great colors.
Tiny Bird Whistles. only if you have a real sense of humor and can stand the sound. Because the next thing you know, everyone will be tweeting for you to kiss!
A Flower Bulb. Pot a bunch of bulbs, one in each little pot, don't tell people what kind they are. Give them planting directions if you want and then let them be surprised by color and life.
A packet of lettuce seeds. You can give them the pot or not. Then send them next year as a reminder and a thank you!
A jar of sprouts! Put the sprouts in the jar with a little water. Close the jar. Tie a cloth square onto each jar with a ribbon. And voila! A fun gift.
I haven't seen this, but I'm sure they exist, or will by the time I finish this article:
Marshmallow chicks with your names written on them. If you want to be really wild and crazy you can send along some directions for chick jousting in the microwave.
And if you want to be serious, but have fun while you're doing it, gather a bunch of friends around to blow eggs and paint them. You're going to be surprised who will be good at the blowing of the eggs and who will be good at the painting of the eggs and who will want to be making the hors d'oeuvres and bringing the beer! Just don't do this last minute, because it's tedious. Make sure there's time to shop for jelly beans in case the dog decides to lie on the box!
Enjoy this part of your wedding. You're getting married. Keep having a good time. That's something you'll want to keep going all throughout your marriage!
Bottom Line?: Give your relationship the chance it deserves to succeed wildly, against all odds! After all, you deserve it. Your relationship deserves it! Ingat kita menjadi raja hanya sehari.........

Finding the perfect wedding gown is not easy. These days there are so many options and there are so many places to look. What you find in magazines and on-line will make your head spin. And then there are warehouses where you could lose yourself for weeks. You may be a shopper and this will be fun for you.Or you may not be and this will be an anathema! But there are ways for each and every one of you to find the wedding ensemble that is right for you. You want to consider: size, style, color, fashion, length ethnic or religious traditions and cost. Most of all you want it to make you look fabulous. Here are a variety of ways to get the bridal gown you want, with the price tag and the story that is appropriate to you!
Couturiere: All of the big and little couture houses make wedding dresses. If money is no object and your body type works with what they've got, this could be right for you.
Wedding Dress Designers: There are all sorts of designers, young and old, funky and traditional who have styles of dresses which you can buy sort of off the rack or have accommodated to you. This isn't cheap, but will certainly assure you of a dress that is all about you and only you. And it's fun to support an artist!
High-end off the rack: The newest thing in wedding gowns. Luxurious and gorgeous. This is what you see in the movies. Is this what you want? They have their own bridal stores and they're available in the high-end bridal stores.
Wedding Warehouses: If you've got ADHD or are a serious extrovert, avoid this, or go with a bevy of friends who will bring dresses to your dressing rooms. Major overstimulation! But a good thing if you don't know whether you want a sheath or a fluffy tulle skirt! Try on this. Hold this up. Did you want white or ivory or champagne or light pink? If you wanted hot pink or dark blue, you're better off looking at the bridesmaids' dresses! (Don't forget to look in the discount section! Someone might have returned the perfect dress and now it's sitting there waiting for you at a fraction of the price!)
Resale: On line and in stores. Someone I know got the most amazing dress from, are you ready for this, the Salvation Army. She had to have it cut down and even had it remade, just slightly. She paid $200 for a name brand dress and $150 for alterations. People were gaga! Nope, she wasn't too proud! BravoBride.com is doing some really interesting sales on line.
Vintage: You can look in specialty boutiques or on line. If there's a certain look you've always wanted, or an era you've always loved, you just have to start looking for the silhouette! You might want to look in someone's attic!
Heritage: Is there a dress in your family that you would like to wear? You can wear it as is, or modernize it (if that's allowed!). There is something wonderful about wearing a dress with history.
Shared: I've only found this once. But if I've encountered it, it's been done before and since. Someone actually advertised and found someone her own size and taste and they bought a gown together. They didn't know one another and were getting married a few months apart. Could have been tragic, if bride number one had had spaghetti for her wedding meal, but bride number two had another option up her sleeve if that tanked! More common is someone you know has a dress, and is willing to lend it to you. They wrote a prenup!
Rented: Yep. Renting. It's not just for tuxes anymore. And they have to dry clean it! Some people are just too sentimental for this.
Make it: I had friend do this for me. It was perfect for me and stunning. Now, I know a lot of people so my odds are greater of knowing someone. But if I could find someone in nowhere Pennsylvania who did not just sewing, but design, my guess is you might too! And with a little work on Google or even a (gasp) phonebook, you could find someone. You need to figure out what you want to look like, how much you want to spend, what kind of style statement you want to make. You need to look at this list and see what's possible and what's interesting for you. Think about what kind of shopper you are. Are you a shop with a friend kinda woman or a go-it-alone type? Like to shop? Or rather get in and get done. Whatever you do, take some time with this, because you do want your partner to be overwhelmed with joy to be marrying this incredibly beautiful woman. And then, enjoy being incredibly beautiful and practice for the rest of your life. You'll never regret feeling good about yourself, and your partner will be proud to be married to a woman who finds herself beautiful. Have fun! There's something wonderful waiting for you!
Bottom Line?: Give your relationship the chance it deserves to succeed wildly, against all odds! After all, you deserve it. Your relationship deserves it!
